In our longest and hardest seasons, we forget about the seasons we’ve already walked through that were tough...but worth it. We think, all of a sudden, goodness has run out for us. We are no longer worthy of or willing to wait for the better. We settle in. Settling keeps us from great. It leaves us in the land of just okay.
