To many people video games can appear to be a way to keep someone from being social in any. way shape or form. We still have that stereotypical image in our mind of someone playing games in a dark basement all by themselves. But games have evolved to be a way for people from different walks of life to come together. They give us an instant connection with another person, something to talk about and build a friendship from. They allow us to chat and play with people from the opposite side of the globe, and through these experiences we can even learn about other cultures, or even more about ourselves.
