Known for being Lydia Bright’s mum, Debbie has a remarkable story all of her own.

Debbie is one of Britain’s longest serving Foster parents, having homed over 300 children. Having
housed children of all ages with all levels of trauma, Debbie has some profound insight and
knowledge to share with any parent or any perspective foster parents.

Despite having four children of her own and being foster mum to hundreds more, Debbie
insisted she was not the archetypal mother and does not even considered herself to be
particularly maternal. Her straight-talking approach is captivating to all those that
encounter her.
