NXT made its anticipated debut on The CW as AEW celebrated its fifth-anniversary Dynamite with a new media rights deal. Host Adam Silverstein kicks off a loaded episode diving into the details of AEW's agreement with Warner Bros. Discovery [3:05] and concludes with a look at ratings for both programs [1:21:10]. "The Silver King" opens the main program by breaking down NXT [21:30], including Trick Williams winning the NXT title over Ethan Page with CM Punk as special guest referee, Giulia's biggest match to date with Roxanne Perez, the return of Cora Jade, a teaser for Delta and what to expect next week in St. Louis. Adam shifts to AEW [43:15] where both Bryan Danielson vs. Kazuchika Okada and Will Ospreay vs. Swerve Strickland ended in lackluster fashion, questions arose about Jon Moxley, Jay White returned, Shelton Benjamin debuted and momentum for Bobby Lashley picked up.
