Listen "AEW Double or Nothing builds, NXT puts women in front before Spring Breakin'"
Episode Synopsis
AEW finally ignited its build for Double or Nothing, while NXT put its women's division front and center ahead of their Spring Breakin' special. Host Adam Silverstein evaluates what's working and what needs improvement for both brands. "The Silver King" begins with AEW [2:10] where CM Punk became "Hangman" Adam Page's challenger for the world title, the TNT championship changed for the fourth time in three months, Adam Cole and Dax Harwood qualified for the Owen Hart Tournament, Lance Archer got fed to Wardlow and both Jade Cargill and Serena Deeb came out on top of their feuds. Next, Adam turns to NXT [22:35] where Joe Gacy's No. 1 contendership continued to drag down NXT champion Bron Breakker, Roxanne Perez got a big match with Mandy Rose, Kay Lee Ray reintroduced herself as Alba Fyre and a Women's Breakout Tournament announcement was part of a concerted effort to feature the ladies across the entire show.
