One of the more beautiful gifts we’ve been given by the Lord Jesus is the Lord’s Prayer. How wonderful is it when we stand together and speak together the words of Jesus from the Gospels “Our Father, who art in heaven hallowed be Thy name...” That God-given prayer not only brings unity among us as in unison we speak our “Family Prayer,” but it also speaks into the unity we have in the koinonia lifestyle. When we pray, we are “Joining Our Hearts” because our prayers are directed toward God who we rely on together, not only for daily bread and other every day needs, but also for salvation itself. Today we remember that we are not only family, but as brothers and sisters in Jesus, we are “Joining Our Hearts” in prayer to our Heavenly Father.
