Before Jesus came, God spoke in many different ways through His messengers. Sometimes, His Word was conveyed through prophets, dreams, visions, human leaders, and even angels. But in every case, the fullness of the Divine Truth could never be perfectly expressed because their knowledge was fragmentary and imperfect. In order to present a perfect revelation of who God is and what His desire is for humanity, He sent His one and only Son. Jesus is the greatest messenger who is the very Word of God Incarnate and perfectly revealed to us who God is.
