God’s covenant with Abraham is not only the foundation forboth the Old and New Covenants, it is central to the eternal gospel of God. In His covenant with Abraham, God announces His choice and plans for Abraham’s future offspring, the nation of Israel, as well as His blessed hope and plans for all the nations of the world through Abraham’s ultimate offspring, the Messiah and Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
