"Joy in Freedom"Luke 4:16-21

This week, we continue our Advent journey that leads us toward Christmas with our "Good News of Great Joy" sermon series. Advent is a season of waiting for the promised Messiah, Jesus. This year we are using Jesus' announcement of his public ministry found in Luke 4:18-19 when he quotes from Isaiah 61. This week we focus on the phrase "freedom for the prisoner... to set the oppressed free." What is this freedom Jesus proclaims? What holds people in bondage? How has Jesus come to set us free? Join us as we explore these questions and more.
