The first game of the day saw the USA and The Netherlands draw 1-1 in Wellington /Te Whanganui-a-Tara in Group E.The Athletic’s Meg Linehan shared her thoughts after the match.Portugal scored their first ever goals in a Women’s World Cup with a 2-0 win over Vietnam. This result knocked Vietnam out and means that if Portugal beat the USA, they are through.England play Denmark tomorrow.
