In this episode, Fr. John Ostdiek shares a few of the many adventures he has experienced throughout his life. Over the course of his long career, he has served as a chaplain at the Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington D.C., was a professor of biology for 20 years at Quincy University, served as chair of the Public Works Commission for the city of Quincy, has written over 500 articles and conducted research on the ecology of the Mississippi River and the Alaskan Blackfish. In addition to all his work, Fr. John was a senior Olympics bowler until his early 90’s. He earned 36 medals over the years.
