I was able to sit down and chat with Taylor Harris. Taylor is the creator and founder of Olive and Oats Hawaii. Taylor described her decision and the importance of using natural dyes for her brand, as opposed to synthetic. We discussed the environmental damage that occurs at the expense of mass synthetic dye usage and just how using food scraps to dye fabric is as sustainable as it is creative.
