Many have struggled through life, yet couldn't ascertain the immediate causes of their problems. If you have abandoned your parents whilst you enjoyed your wealth, new status without support, upkeep and medicals to them, this might be the reason for your challenges. The word "honour" means respect for the physical and moral support of your parents. If you don't honour them, you are most probably going to deny the Lord who you haven't seen. How much is Jesus worth to you? Will you deny and trade Him away? The refusal to carry out spiritual instruction is a denial of Jesus. The refusal to share God's Word is a sign that you never knew Him. Do want to share the table and popularity with Jesus but not His Cross?
