Pastor Jeff concluded our study of the book of Colossians this past Sunday. His focus scripture passage was Colossians 4:5b. He reminded us that, as followers of Christ we have a mandate from God to make the most of our time. In order to walk in that truth, you must strive to be prayerful, thankful, watchful and fruitful. While each of these processes has enormous merit, it is particularly important that we remain watchful, especially in these turbulent times. We must strive to "fix" our eyes on Jesus. Hebrews 12:1b … and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith. This is the bedrock for the redemption of time. Selah
