FreeWay celebrated Easter by holding a special early Sonrise service. Sister Joni Davis ministered the word and referenced the story of Mary Magdelene arriving at the tomb first to find it empty. She went and reported to the other disciples who also came and confirmed that Jesus was not there. Those disciples all left. But Mary’s spirit was broken at the prospect of not receiving confirmation of where Jesus’ body was. She stayed at the tomb and because of her diligence in “looking for Jesus,” she was rewarded. We can all learn from Mary as scriptures attest in Jeremiah 29:13 You will find me if you seek me with all your heart. Are we looking for Jesus in every aspect of our lives, in our relationships, finances, etc.? And, do we have the resolve to not stop until we find him? Selah
