For the most part, this podcast covers what to do when buying or selling real estate. However, what do you do when you're sitting on a lot of equity but have no intentions of moving? This week I begin to dive into a topic some homeowners may not be privy to: Home Equity Line of Credit aka HELOC. We discuss some of the benefits, as well as, things to consider applying your HELOC towards, such as debt consolidation, investment properties (in coming episodes), etc. I've also attached some helpful information regarding HELOCs, courtesy of Stephen Miglarese of Movement Mortgage, here in the Triangle.
