Nathalie Becquart is the first woman to have a vote in the Catholic Synod of Bishops in February of 2021. She is the first to hold the position of Undersecretary of the Synod of Bishops. In 2019, Becquart and four other women were the first to be appointed as consultants to the secretariat of the Synod of Bishops in the Catholic Church.Nathalie graduated from HEC Paris in 1992 with a major in entrepreneurship. She worked in youth ministry early in her career.
