Bonafide popstar from South Sudan, migrant, and now rising Australian artist. Amongst a world tour, Gordon Koang and his cousin Paul Biel made the tough decision to not return home and seek asylum in Australia. For five trying years, longing for his family, he stopped releasing and performing music. Unity the album sees Gordon Koang come back to sharing his music again, with the hope of helping others as it did him in times of uncertainty. Koang and Biel blend traditional Neur rhythms and instruments with compositions in English, Arabic and his native language of Neur.
