Listen "Bonus episode - JESIP huddles and Ten Second Triage at Operation Tendley 2"
Episode Synopsis
As promised, here is the first of our bonus episodes. Catherine Levin spent the day near Bridgend in South Wales to observe a multi-agency exercise involving police, fire, ambulance and other partner agencies responding to a major road traffic collision.
Catherine grabs time with the leads from the blue light agencies to find out about what the objectives were, how JESIP works in action and what a JESIP huddle looks like. She also digs into the detail about ten second triage and asks if this is now business as usual in Wales.
Because this is recorded outside the audio is variable so bear with us and enjoy learning about a major incident exercise that was six months in the planning.
Speakers:
Catherine Levin, Emergency Services Times
DC Richard Paskell, South Wales Police
CI Tim Davis, Dyfed Powys Police
GM Roger Magan, South Wales Fire and Rescue Service
Scott Walker, Welsh Ambulance Service
Dr Tim Johnson, Cardiff University Medical School
