It’s been said that a thousand mile journey begins with a single step. This is the reality that we really need to embrace if we are ever going to move in any direction as individuals and as a church. If we are so focused on the task ahead of us that we forget to start moving in that direction, we might end up right where we’ve always been. This certainly was true for Jesus’s first disciples, and it’s true for us today.
