Claudette Robinson's journey in music began with her joining The Miracles at the age of 15. She was the first female artist ever signed to a Motown-affiliated record label, Tamla Records. Her contributions to the group and Motown's success were significant, earning her the title of "First Lady of Motown" from Berry Gordy as a sign of respect.
