Daniel Bromberg and Étienne Charbonneau speak about their co-authored book, Calibrating Public Accountability, with Troy Mix, Associate Director at the University of Delaware's Institute for Public Administration. Sub-titled “The Fragile Relationship between Police Departments and Civilians in an Age of Video Surveillance,” the book examines the implementation of Body-Worn Cameras and the expectations that police and civilians have about the release of footage.

During this March 22, 2021 interview, Daniel and Étienne discussed their goals for the book, outlined their research approach, and summarized key takeaways for scholars, policymakers, and practitioners.

Daniel Bromberg is the Director of Academic Programs at the Carsey School of Public Policy and Associate Professor in Political Science and Public Policy at the University of New Hampshire. Étienne Charbonneau is the Canada Research Chair in Comparative Public Management at École nationale d’administration publique in Montreal, Canada.
