Listen "Featured interview: Florida Citrus CEO Matt Joyner"
Episode Synopsis
Serious challenges to global food supplies remain, driven in part by the war in Ukraine and the impact of climate change and extreme weather. In the United States in particular, you can add to that a devastating disease that's done serious damage to orange crops. Production is set to fall to its lowest in decades, which would surely put upward pressure on prices. The problem is so severe that some orange growers have decided to give up on the citrus business altogether. Joining Julia to discuss is Florida Citrus Mutual CEO Matt Joyner.
