Message: The Gospel According to Matthew  Text: Matthew 5:10-12  Persecuted  Make a difference  If you are always the same as everyone around you, how can you make a difference?  Righteousness/holiness makes the unrighteous uncomfortable.  Your light exposes the darkness. In seeing you they see themselves.  For the serious disciple, Jesus is always preparing you for something, as you go from test to test.  Opposition produces: purifying, direction, focus, maturing (the opposite of petty)  With every little bit of difference you are making, comes the opportunity to make more difference.
