Episode 263 Aaron Hale is a First Class Father and Retired Veteran who served with both the Navy and Army. After six years as an expert EOD Technician in the military, Aaron Hale became blind the moment an unseen IED exploded in his face in Afghanistan in December of 2011. He also suffered significant hearing loss and now hears only through the aid of Cochlear Hearing implants. In the years that followed, Aaron rehabilitated himself to an extent most sighted people would envy – running marathons, climbing mountains, and even solo white water kayaking. He is also a successful entrepreneur who founded Extra Ordinary Delights. In this Episode, Aaron shares his Fatherhood journey, he talks about some of the challenges of being blind while being a Dad to his three children including a set of 4 month old twins, he tells us the origin of his Chocolate Fudge company, his plans for the future, he offers some great advice for new or about to be Dads and more!
