Ross serves as a Battalion Chief with the Arlington Heights (IL) Fire Department. Ross is a Squad Leader with  Illinois Urban Search and Rescue Task Force 1 and formerly the technical and training coordinator for the MABAS Division 1 technical rescue team.  Ross has been working in the rope and specialty rescue arena for the past 15 years, currently is the Special Projects Manager and a SPRAT Level 3 Rope Access Supervisor with Elevated Safety.  Ross enjoys spending time with his family, Crossfit and competing in Ironman triathlons and other endurance events.  He has a master’s degree in emergency services management and a bachelor’s in Fire Service Management and is a certified.
