Ashleigh is 23 years old and has battled multiple chronic illnesses. She was first put on birth control at the age of 11. Due to genetic conditions, she was told that we had about a 5-10% chance of IVF working. Ashleigh ultimately made the decisionto have a hysterectomy. In this episode, she discusses dealing with her chronic illnesses and the grief that comes with not being able to carry a baby.
