The other morning I had the best attempted pickup encounter. I was outside the Apple Store at the mall waiting for my appointment and doing some people watching. A handsome, tall, older gentleman walks up to me and says "Would you mind doing a YouTube video with me? I need proof I have a girlfriend." He points at an overhead security camera. Grins and gives me a big hug. I just went with it. Then he walked off, turned and smiled again, then disappeared into the crowd. He was delightful and no he didn’t pilfer my wallet…As I was sitting there thinking that this was the best pickup line I'd ever heard, I realized what a bright spot this was.I needed that hug probably more than he did.
