Find everthing

Por: InDuna
InDuna’s story begins far from the neon stages and festival lights he performs under today. Born in Johannesburg and raised between the slums of the city and the quiet stretches of Limpopo, he learned early that the world could be loud, harsh, and unforgiving. But there was always one place where the chaos softened: music. Long before he had the language for emotion, rhythm became his translator, and melody became his escape.

At fourteen, his life shifted again when he moved to New Zealand a new country, a new culture, and a new beginning. With no formal training, he taught himself to produce and write, building his sound one beat, one verse, one late-night experiment at a time. What emerged was a signature fusion: Afro-Dance-pop rooted in South African soul but shaped by the journey of a young artist finding his voice on the other side of the world.

That voice didn’t go unnoticed. In 2024, he was honoured with the Young Global Achiever Award from The King’s Trust. His breakout single Dreams carried the heart of his story resilience, ambition, and belief and went on to win Best Original Song at the International Online Web Fest, chart on the Official NZ Hot Singles Chart, and feature in the documentary Ink and Gold: An Artist’s Journey to Olympic Glory.

In 2025, InDuna released Go High, an EP born from late nights, quiet prayers, and unshakable drive. It debuted at #16 on the Official Top 20 Aotearoa Albums Chart, marking a milestone not just in his career, but in the journey of the boy who refused to stop dreaming.

On stage, that journey comes alive. Whether headlining in Wellington, lighting up Auckland, or opening for powerhouse artists like JessB and Deva Mahal, InDuna performs with the urgency of someone who knows where he’s come from and exactly where he’s going. His shows don’t just entertain; they remind people of what’s possible when you hold on, push through, and rise.
