Chair Powell came close to going out in style, but his comment that a December rate cut isn't guaranteed took some air out of the markets. Still, this isn't bad news. A new Fed Chair will take office early next year, and I expect further rate cuts soon after. That means we could see additional opportunities for growth as rates adjust. 🏦 A Quick Refresher: The Fed's Two Jobs 1️⃣ Price Stability — keeping inflation low and steady. 2️⃣ Full Employment — maintaining low unemployment, ideally around 3%.
