When it comes to my farrier career, there are few people that I owe more to than my guest today. Jim Keith is a farrier legend that has done so much for our trade, writing, teaching, competing, making tools, and sharing with any that asked. He wrote the introduction to my textbook over a decade ago, and I was honored when he wrote the back cover of my latest book For the Want of a Shoe, the Horse Was Lost Jim's book, I Never Called Myself a Cowboy, is a wonderful look at the Cowboy way of life in the desert Southwest, and a fantastic read.
