Listen "Episode 78: An Autumn Afternoon (1962) "
Episode Synopsis
Welcome back to Film Haven Reviews!! This week we are finishing up our "Seasons Change" theme with the film An Autumn Afternoon (1962). This was Yosijiru Ozo's last film, and unfortunatley, its not really his best. It has all the halmark's of his unique style, but doesn't excell at any of them. I gave this film a 6.5/10 for being too similar to Ozo's older films, while not being as good, so while there were some redeemable aspects, mainly the main character's performance, the overall vibe of the film was off and I didn't get much out of it.
