Mothers are a beautiful gift from God to be life-givers to their children. Often their stories of faith and God’s faithfulness are unnoticed because their work happens in the deep trenches of the home.

In this video interview, we asked six moms from FCBC Walnut to share their experiences about motherhood. They recount what their pregnancies were like and what it was like to hold their babies for the first time. They also answered these questions:

What’s your favorite song to sing to your babies?
What is a Bible passage that has helped you work through challenges in motherhood?
What is a prayer you have for yourself?
What is a prayer you have for your children?
How would you describe motherhood?
Do you have a faith story to share?

Moms need our prayers and our encouragement. Pray that our moms will seek refuge in God alone, and that they will find an abundant supply of grace, strength, patience, and perseverance to complete each day’s tasks with joy and thankfulness.

The work of motherhood is important and God-glorifying. The heart of mothers teaches us about God’s mercy, His love, and His grace. Happy Mother’s Day to all of our moms!
