Our expectations of the present based on the future. But the present state of the world and our country can lead us to a deep feeling of fear in what lies ahead. The reality of the resurrection will lead us to another conclusion about the future, however. In the long-term we know that things will be okay, not just okay but "Resurrection OK". In the short-term resurrection provides us with a pattern for living.
