Bafana Bafana failed to qualify for the next Africa Cup Of Nations (AFCON) after losing to Sudan 2-0 this past Sunday, and local supporters have voiced their frustrations in the latest episode of the Fan Reaction Show. Due to their 1-1 draw against Ghana, Bafana left themselves needing at least a draw to guarantee qualification from Group C of the AFCON qualifying round, but goals from Saifeldin Bakhit & Mohamed Abdel Raman sent Sudan through.
Fans are understandably very upset, with many people unsure how to fix Bafana’s problems, with some calling for coach Molefi Ntseki to resign, and others expressing their sadness in the latest episode on the SL Podcast. “It disappointing and very painful for us”, one fan stated. “It seems like we don’t know tactics, or we don’t have a game plan” another chimed in.
