After yet another fantastic weekend of PSL Football, thrills and upsets was the trend of the matchday with all eyes focused on the Soweto Derby. Orlando Pirates hosted the glamour boys in the 175th edition of the derby (52nd in the PSL era). Both the Buccaneers and Amakhosi were searching for the 3 points and the bragging rights, with the ultimatum of closing the gap on Mamelodi Sundowns. After a thrilling 90 minutes, it was Kaizer Chiefs who emerged victorious after a stunning 2-1 victory over their fierce rivals. Goals by Frosler and Mathoho secured all 3 points for the glamour boys, which now sees them 16 points behind league leaders Sundowns.
