Listen "Solid Ground - 14 Aug 2025"
Episode Synopsis
In this episode of Solid Ground, Simon talks briefly about Chloe Swarbrick's recent expulsion from Parliament for inappropriate comments, noting how arrogant it is to think that everyone must think the same way. He also criticises former New Zealand leaders for not attending the ongoing COVID inquiry, interpreting their absence as avoidance of accountability. Simon also calls out media for suggesting Voices for Freedom shouldn’t be allowed to publish their views – he notes that it doesn’t matter if they are right or wrong, people and groups are allowed to share their opinions. The show finishes up by noting how debanking has been banned in the USA, and suggesting the same is needed here in New Zealand.
