Yet they are full of mystery and surprises. The recent floods all over the country exposed the corruption and anomaly that flooded the government lawmakers, DPW implementors and private contractors. The silent watchers walked on street to protest and demand for truth and justice, change and convictions of lawbreakers. Where is God in the midst of these socio-political reality? Is God at work with the Discayas who opened the pandoras box?The prophet Habakkuk impatiently wrestled with lawlessness and violence, corruption and greed in his time. He engaged the socio-political evil and forces of power by embracing God in prayer, although perplexed and powerless he experienced hope and strength in God. This October 2025 we will invite Habakkuk to guide us to frame our questions and amazement in God's sovereign justice and learn to watch and wait as we walk in faithfulness in a world of corruption and lawlessness.What God is Doing These Days? Are we ready to embrace what God is doing in our days? This may involve reviewing our theology to reframe it by what He reveals making us amazed and confused.Where is God in political unrest, systemic corruption, natural disaster these days? The Senselessness of the Work of God Let our complaint move us to contemplate to stand, see and be surprised with awe."Lord, expand our vision of who You are to see your work these days."
