We need God to reveal himself to us. And He does.
The Doctrine of General Revelation teaches that God reveals himself in creation. The heavens declare his power and majesty. You and I should worship when the power and beauty of nature strikes us.
The Doctrine of Special Revelation teaches that God has given us a special word that teaches us of God's salvation. The Bible is God's story of creation, fall, redemption, and consummation.
