(Brian Schreiber) Mary Magdalene and Thomas were experiencing some scars in their lives in the after moments of Jesus’ cruel treatment and death on the cross. On the one hand, Mary had scars with crying  about someone stealing her Savior’s body.  And on the other, Thomas’ scars reached into his doubts and insecurities about the truth of whom Jesus said He was for everyone.  Many have been scarred by these same realities. The scars of a resurrected Jesus remind us that we cannot simply skip from the celebrations of Palm Sunday to Easter morning. But these leftover scars help us remember the dark days between the two and the suffering Jesus went through to justify our sins.  May you never forget your Lord and your God, who took the fall for you.   He suffered on the messy cross and was crucified , died and yet who rose again!  This One knows your pain and His scars are scars of life for you!
