Episode 4 confronts our former way of functioning, known in scripture as the “old Adam.” The sinful flesh refuses to stay quiet as it relates to human efforts, merit, and works based living. It is God Himself who silences the old Adam by gifting us salvation. We can not earn our way into God’s good graces.
