Revelation 18:9-20 covers the second part of "A Dirge for Babylon." We are still working with the idea that We must understand God’s judgment against Babylon!
In vv. 1-3 we saw that 1) We must understand the pronouncement of his judgment.
Then, in vv. 4-5 we learned that 2) We must understand the call to avoid his judgment.
In vv. 6-8 we saw that 3) We must understand the definition of his judgment.
In vv. 9-19 we learned the 4) We must understand the lament of those judged.
Now, in v. 20 we see that 5) We must understand the joy that his judgment will bring.
