Revelation 17:1-6a covers the topic of "The Prostitute and the Beast." In this section we are working with the idea that God wants us to understand his final judgment! How does he do that?
In vv. 1-2 1) God gives us a picture of the earth in the last days.
Then, in vv. 3-6a we see that 2) The picture helps us to understand why his judgment is necessary.
We discussed a) The Location of the vision.
b) The relationship of the woman to Satan.
Now, in vv. 4-6a we dive into c) The Description of the Woman and seek to identify her in this metaphorical vision.
