In the first part of v. 17 we saw that 1) The Cultural Mandate is fulfilled.
Then, in 17b, we note 2) The Continual Hardening of the Heart
In vv. 18-24 we see 3) The Growth of Culture.
Finally, in vv. 25-26 we see 4) Seth's Family and the Knowledge of the Lord.
We look at the change in focus by Moses from Cain to Seth and start to follow Seth's line, making some observations about Eve, as well as Seth's name, and examining the phrase "People began to call upon the name of the LORD" and what that means and how significant it is.
