Episode Synopsis

As we began to look at the marriage relationship and the topic of living in submission to one another, we see that Marriage relationships must reflect God’s Purpose in every aspect. In vv. 22-24 we saw that 1) THE WIFE’S ROLE IN MARRIAGE IS TO PICTURE THE ORDER OF CREATION. Now, we see in vv. 25-30 that 2) THE HUSBAND’S ROLE IN MARRIAGE IS TO LOVE SACRIFICIALLY. Then, in vv. 31-33, 3) THE MARRIAGE UNION PICTURES CHRIST’S UNION WITH THE CHURCH.
