Verses 10b-16 of 2 Peter 2 are giving us the profile of a false teacher and we are learning that All false teachers bear certain traits that make them identifiable!
The first thing we saw in vv. 10b-11 was that 1) FALSE TEACHERS ARE PROUD OF THEIR FALSE TEACHING.
Then, in vv. 12-13a we saw that 2) FALSE TEACHERS ACT ACCORDING TO THEIR NATURE.
In v. 13b, we saw that 3) FALSE TEACHERS ENJOY THEIR PERVERSIONS ALL THE TIME.
In v. 14 we saw that 4) FALSE TEACHERS REPUDIATE TRUE HOLINESS.
And now, finally, in vv. 15-16 we see that 5) FALSE TEACHERS RESEMBLE A CERTAIN TYPE OF PROPHET FROM THE SCRIPTURE.
