If you don't build the world first how are you going to tell the story? We might be partial, since world building is both Stevie and Gretchen's favorite part of writing, but if you don't take the time to world build first then your fantasy story is just going to fall apart. But you have to be careful, because if you get stuck in a world building spider web, You'll be spinning, World Building's got you for its prey... ;)
