Episode Synopsis
After a quiet October the guys are back in full force to spring into conversation about their beloved subject of languages. Ian and Markus recount the latter's quick trip out to Alberta and how it felt great to riff the whole time in a different language. They make their continual plea for native/advanced language learners to keep sharing the gift and not revert to the dominant language of English. Cody gives an update on his Taekwondo classes and the traction he continues to make with Korean. The episode then centralizes around the idea of doing a language justice and how one's development in a language in a long arduous process with a multitude of cultural discoveries along the way. This then leads to language mastery is essential for instructing in a comprehensible input classroom and the guys get into their long term outlook on languages including Cody's eventual plan to tackle a new language each decade of his life.
