The Lingoholics are back with Cody freshly arrived in South Korea after a lengthy journey from Vancouver. Cody breaks down his travel experiences including the surprises and process of travelling during Covid. He’s currently in a two week quarantine before he gets to venture out and start his new job so he lays out his routine to stay sane and level up in Korean. Meanwhile back in Canada, Ian and Markus have jumped into practicing Portuguese, which leads to a conversation about using anchor languages to hack other languages in the same family. Finally the guys look at when is the most optimal time to start grammar study and how much one should do of it compared to consuming native language content.
