It is about time somebody wrote about the probation service andthe crucial work they do to safeguard survivors of domestic abuse.'Pamela R Haynes is a retired Senior Probation Officer. She has previously workedas a domestic abuse programme facilitator and with survivors of domestic violence.In 2018 Pam was awarded Author of the Year and Author of Colour for her debutnovel Loving The Brothers and shortlisted for a BLAC Best Writer award 2020.Recipient of The Powerhouse Global Women's Award 2022 for her work raisingawareness of domestic abuse through her books and a Finalist for a Baton Award in
the Paulette Wilson Campaigner category 2022.
